Over the years, Journey has been blessed by many generous partners, one of them being David Madore, founder of US Digital. In an interview with Mr. Madore, he shared the story of how they began supporting nonprofits and the mission behind their efforts.

In 2005, US Digital had a large wing of their building sitting empty for over a year.
“What do we do with this?” Mr. Madore thought.
He and his team decided it either needed a purpose or it would have to go. When Mr. Madore learned of a nonprofit in need of office space, they offered the unused wing – filled with offices – at no cost. Mr. Madore reflected on this simple act of sharing resources and thought of Moses’ staff.
He considered, “What do we have in our hands that we can use to bless others?”
Just as Moses’ staff became a tool for God’s miracles, the unused office space became a means of serving others. Word spread about the no-cost office space, and US Digital now hosts 62 nonprofits. Their mission of generosity continues to expand, including a coffee shop built within the main entrance. All proceeds are donated weekly to one of the nonprofits in the building
Mr. Madore spoke of the synergy and camaraderie among these organizations within the building. Through the recession it seemed God’s providence was again evident in how this space provided financial relief for these organizations through hard times.
“It’s been an inspiration for us to see [the nonprofits] working together,” Mr. Madore said in the interview.
Eventually, Journey Theater applied for space at US Digital and was welcomed into this community of nonprofits. Mr. Madore described Journey Theater as a wholesome resource for the community.
“They know the point – to train and utilize your talents to bless everybody,” he said, expressing personal gratitude in supporting their ministry.
As our conversation came to a close, Mr. Madore reflected on the bigger picture behind US Digital’s generosity. For him, providing space is more than practical, it’s partnering with God to love others. He emphasized the importance of emulating God by loving and helping others with whatever resources we have in our hands.
“We want to inspire and encourage others to discover what they have in their hand and use it to bless their communities.”
