Dancing Through Life Music Revue Camp 2023

Ages: 13 – 18

July 24 – 28  9am – 4pm
Showcase: 2pm on Friday, July 28

at Crosspointe Baptist 9810 NE 76th St, Vancouver

Join us as we sing and dance our way through the greatest hits from one of Broadway and Disney’s biggest composers: Stephen Schwartz! With shows like Wicked, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Godspell, and more, this camp will be epic!!! So warm up those voices and grab your dance shoes, we’ve got some magic to do at our new music revue camp, Dancing Through Life: featuring the Music of Stephen Schwartz!

 

Cost: $325.  Save $15 when you register by May 15.

Discounts: 
Early Registration Discount: Students registered and paid by May 15, 2023 will receive $15 off each registration.
New Family Discount: Families enrolling a student for the first time are eligible for a discount for $25 off the total cost of registration. Enter the code FIRSTJOURNEY when registering online. This discount is given once per family.
Sibling Discount: Any family that enrolls more than one child in Journey for the same session of camps will receive $10 off for every child enrolled. Note that this discount is given once per child.
Multiple Registrations Discount: Any child who is enrolled in more than one Journey camp per session will receive $10 off every class enrolled after the first.

Sibling and Multiple Registration Discounts cannot be combined.

Refunds for camp payments must be requested at least two weeks before the first day of the camp in which a student is registered.
A $25 processing fee will be charged.

Age Policy – All campers must meet the designated age requirement (12-18 years old)  within the session for which they have enrolled.  Summer session is June 1 – August 31.  Children who are 18 years old on June 1st may enroll in this camp; children must turn 12 by the end of the session (August 31) to participate.

Camp Director: Chelsea Nicole Pitel

Chelsea is an award-winning choreographer from San Diego who recently relocated to Vancouver. Having grown up in the theatre world since age 4, Chelsea has performed in over 80 shows and tour groups, and at the age of 14 began choreographing and teaching dance classes for a national children’s theatre company. Since 2007, Chelsea has choreographed both professional and non-professional shows all over the Unites States, as well as Uganda. Her training includes  the Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Academy of Performing Arts in San Diego, she is also an alumnus of the Pulse Teacher Workshop and the Stage Door Connections Workshop with Andy Blankenbuehler. Chelsea is a recipient of the Portland Area Musical Theatre Award, Inland Theatre League, National Youth Arts, and Director’s Choice Award.
