Summer 2021

Tour Group

Journey Theater is proud to present an all new tour group, Stage Door: from the Stage to all the Rage, coming to you this Summer and available for booking starting July 4th. Audiences will be treated to song selections from popular Broadway musicals such as Chicago, Footloose, Hairspray and many more performed by an all-star cast of students. Dance along to songs from Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys and Fame as we take you through the Best of Broadway and give theater lovers a taste of what they’ve been missing these past 12 months!

They will be held on Monday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30 at Cascade Park Baptist Church (1201 SE 136th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98683), Friday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 at Summit View Church, Heritage Park Campus, and Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 1:00pm at Summit View Church, Heritage Park Campus (9802, 7701 NE 182nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98682).

Performance Details

Performances will be held throughout the community from July 4 – August 15.  Students will be able to list conflicts and will not have to be available for every single performance as students will learn to stand in for each other.  Details on how to book a show will be available here beginning June 1.

Parent Involvement

Parent involvement will be needed.  We will be looking for volunteers to transport sets, help with sound and costuming, and work as a liaison between the performers and host families.  Requests for volunteers will be made after the cast list has been posted.
