Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical comedy featuring the beloved characters and hit songs from the films!
It is present-day, and in the kingdom of Auradon, all of Disney’s beloved heroes and royalty are living happily ever after, safe from the terrifying villains and troublesome sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben, the benevolent teenage son of Belle and King Adam (The Beast), offers a chance of redemption for the troublemaking offspring of the evilest villains. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos – the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar – are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. Now entering a completely foreign world and way of life, the four Villain Kids have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

Performances April 22 – 30, 2022
At the moment, Washington State Department of Health, our local school districts and the CDC are requiring masks indoors for adults and children regardless of vaccination status, with relaxed restrictions on temperature checks, distancing and capacity.
That said, exceptions to the masking requirement are in development for performers while onstage (after a negative COVID test or proof of vaccine). We hope that by the time our next performances take place, performers will be able to de-mask for their time onstage, but we cannot be sure of that possibility until we are closer to the performance dates. Please review our COVID Show Protocols as we work together to take care of each other and make sure this in person activity remains possible.
Descendants auditions are open to Journey students currently enrolled in classes (ages 8-18). Auditions will be held at Summit View Church (7701 NE 182nd Ave., Vancouver) in the main auditorium, on Friday, January 14, 2022. Check in from 5 – 7 pm. Doors open at 4:45.
