Vancouver Classes

Spring 2024

Journey Theater classes are a great way to introduce young people to different aspects of the theater arts, and help students gain confidence and develop performance skills.

A few things to be aware of

  1. “Foundations of…” classes are our CORE CLASSES that serve as prerequisites for continuing on to other classes.
  2. Classes fill quickly, and may fill before this page is updated. Remember to list your second choice class!
  3. If the class you want to take is full, register for your second choice, and email office@journeytheater.org to be placed on the waiting list.
  4. Classes and teachers are subject to change, depending on enrollment and availability.
  5. On the last day of each 8-week session, there is a showcase performance.  Please let your teacher know as soon as possible if your student will not be able to participate in Showcase. In most cases, if a student misses the showcase, the class will not be added to their transcript and will need to be repeated if needed as a prerequisite for another class.

You will quickly learn how to differentiate these categories, along with the games that fit within them. This course will bolster your skills as an actor, teach you an abundance about the art of storytelling, and boost the confidence you bring to all areas of life- big promises, but we can assure you, they are true! **Note - this class goes till 9:00 PM each week.
