You’ve got dancing fever! Master these basics and you’ll be ready for anything. Whether you want to learn Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, or Ballroom—this class will give you the foundation you’ll need to succeed. This foundational class focuses on basic ballet and jazz dance and is a required beginning for all our other dance classes.

Whether you love to sing in your church choir, along with Rock Band, or just in the shower—singing can be fun! Learn how to put those pipes to use with good technique and style. In this interactive class, you will learn the fundamental concepts and training of the voice and gain the confidence you need to perform solos in showcase and shows. This class is the foundation of all our voice classes!

It’s time to put it all together! Dancing, acting, and singing all work together to create the magical world of musical theater. Start the journey to becoming a triple threat by learning how to combine all the basic skills you learned in previous core classes into one show-stopping showcase! You want to take this class to become a well-rounded musical theater performer.

Memorable characters fight for what they want. An essential key to creating an authentic, engaging character on stage is isolating what the character wants, what's in their way, and how they fight to get it. Learn how to get to the heart of any role--comic or dramatic--and find the one thing worth fighting for. Students will choose the style of scripts we work on and present for showcase -- customized for the students enrolled in the class.

Create drama, humor, and stories on the spot. This class will give you the basic principles of improvisation and give you the confidence to embrace everything that is thrown at you when you don’t have a script in your hands. Learn team-building skills that will strengthen your ability to play with your partners on stage. In this class, which focuses on short-form improv, you will learn how to live “in the moment” and confidently say “Yes!” to anything.

Journey Studio is a new year-long program designed for students ages 13-18 who want more rigorous training in the theater arts. If you are considering pursuing theater as a career, or just want to push yourself to really grow in your skills and become a more well-rounded performer, then this program is for you. We’ll be kicking off Journey Studio with a Musical Theater class designed to challenge you in all areas of musical theater: singing, dancing and acting. In this class you will get more personalized instruction and material to help you develop into a triple threat performer and prepare you for that musical theater grind. Want to learn how to perform a specific character type? Then this is the class for you! The focus of this class will change from session to session. We will offer instruction to help master various vocal styling for character types, such as: Villains, Ingénues, Romantic leads as well as specialty characters like animals.

Do you love the music from shows like Hamilton, Matilda, Newsies, and Aladdin?!? In this high-energy class we'll review and build upon the basics, sharpen skills, and learn new steps using music from the most popular musicals of the last 10 years. This class will help you feel prepared and capable for your next audition, callback or class.

Arm yourself with the flashing blades and debonair style of the swashbuckling legends of Hollywood! Using fanciful techniques pulled from classic cinema, this class will teach you to fence with light swords in true heroic style, including dramatic, ground-covering footwork, impressive weapon flourishes, and even how to take on multiple opponents with poise, style, and devil-may-care nonchalance. Of course, the class also stresses the underlying principles of safety, illusion, and story that make any kind of stage combat effective, and emphasizes the perfect form that is the hallmark of the skilled hero.
