“If we haven’t met, my name’s Jacob Granneman, and I had the pleasure of being a part of Journey for almost 10 years. Tonight, I’m talking to you all as no one special. I never went to Broadway or LA; I still live less than five miles from where I did my first show. I’m talking to you right now because youth theater changed my life. I’m a storyteller by trade, and I learned many of my skills in this organization. I am the friend, the husband, the leader, and the man I am today because of the wisdom I gained in this company. I learned how to be my spontaneous self, I learned the power of the stage and most of all I learned how all our stories really echo the story of Jesus. Your time and contributions truly change lives, I’m one of them.”
